School Administrator

 

JOB SUMMARY

The School Administrator will be responsible for the effective and efficient general administration of the school which will include the office, facilities, school assets, and all matters concerning the Students and the Trainers. The Successful applicant will report to the School Director.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure effective administration of admission and registration of
  2. Effectively coordinate Students’ matriculation, orientation, graduation and post-graduation employment by
  3. Ensure effective implementation of Students’ welfare policies on proper accommodation and accompanying assets, allowances, feeding, health and safety, travel, games, ). Preparation and submission of periodic reports to the School Director based on periodic quality assurance visits.
  4. Ensure adequate allowances and welfare provisions are made to Trainers and Management staff in line with
  5. Ensure Disciplinary policies are clearly communicated, fairly and appropriately
  6. Ensure timely and accurate collation of inputs for the Budget process to be submitted to the School Financial Administrator (FA) to enable Budget preparation by the
  7. Ensure proper implementation of annual budgets and adherence to approved administrative policies and
  8. Ensure records are properly and safely kept, including all approval documents, payment vouchers, receipts, academic records for all Students and appraisal records for all
  9. Ensure preparation and submission of periodic and required reports to Management, the Board of Trustees, Beam Fund Foundation and West Africa

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  1. A minimum of a first degree in management, business administration or any of the social
  2. A Master’s degree will be an added
  3. Excellent written and oral communication
  4. Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite required)
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills
  6. A minimum of 10 years of working experience in administration or office management is
