Brief History: The Uyo Church stated as a seed fellowship in 2007 with the coming together of two disciples, Namely Mr & Mrs. Eyinihi and Mr & Mrs. Ita. The Eyinihi moved in to Uyo from Warri Church when they relocated to Uyo and the Ita’s moved in from Lagos (Egbeda Church) when they relocated to Uyo. At first, two families jointly attended the Calabar. We now thought it wise to look for a meeting facility as to further attract other souls, the first meeting venue was Four Towns Primary School. We still continued to meet with Calabar Church Monthly and took part in all the Church programmes as they become our overseeing Church until 2009 when the fellowship was chosen to be among the Churches to be planted in 2010. This news was received with great joy. The church continues to grow from 5 disciples to 11 before the inauguration. New disciples where baptized and added to God’s kingdom. Presently the church is 23 in Number and still moving on. The Church now meets at Dan-Bassey Street off 405 Oron Road.
