Yenagoa: Bible Talk Leaders Retreat – Presenting Everyone Perfect in Christ

The Yenagoa Church just concluded a two day Bible Talk Leaders retreat with the theme: PRESENTING EVERYONE PERFECT IN CHRIST- COL 1:28

20 Bible Talk Leaders, men and women, gathered at Top Rank Hotels, Yenagoa, for a time of learning and prayers as they prepared for the task of the year.

Friday started with a welcome devotional led by the church leader, Gbenga Atolagbe. He called every one to be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. There were group prayers and sharing.

Kingdom Teacher, Emmanuel Emeh, taught a class via zoom titled “Small Groups As A Means To PROCLAIM.”

Bloc Leaders for the South East Bloc, Kemi and Nneka Olufowobi, spoke passionately on “Discipling As A Means To ADMONISH.”

And that was not all. Leaders were inspired by guest speaker Joe Thomas from the Savannah church in New Orleans who taught via zoom on “The Essence of Teaching”.

All the leaders were delighted and resolved to work together the more in order to achieve greatness this year.

This is the first-ever leaders’ retreat in the history of the Yenagoa church.

Gbenga and Gina Atolagbe, who lead the church, believe strongly that when we invest in our human resources, i.e our grassroot leaders, the dividends will be overflowing.
