Lagos Combined Thanksgiving Service – Working Together in Unity

It was an amazing time as a Church on the 27th of June 2021, when for the first time in the year, the Lagos Church held it’s first combined physical and virtual thanksgiving service.

The service was filled with remarkable moments which included the presentation of the new Lead Evangelist for the Lagos Church Jide and Biola Ojo. Their presentation was marked by the Elders of the Lagos Church as well as several other Leaders present during the event. The Elders said prayers for the new evangelist and his family, asking God for His wisdom, favour and protection.

In turn, the new Lead Evangelist Jide Ojo preached a powerful and stirring message titled ‘Working Together In Unity’. Citing key scriptures as Genesis 11:1-6, John 17:20-26, Acts 2:42-47 amongst others, he encouraged all disciples to be intentional in the pursuit of unity as a body.

In addition to the presentation of the new Lead Evangelist for the Lagos Church, a new Evangelist and three women’s ministry coordinators were also appointed namely: Rotimi Awaye, Omobolanle Abolarinwa, Ngozi Orumwense and Christie Edi.

It was a refreshing time of reconnecting with God and redefining His will for us a Church as well as a great time of praise and fellowship.
