ICOC CARING HEARTS INITIATIVE HIRES A CEO

The Board of Trustees of ICOC Caring Hearts Initiative (ICOC CHI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Adegbola Abiodun as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICOC Caring Hearts Initiative with effect from September 1st, 2021.

He is a current member of The Board and veteran NGO expert.

His professional career spans almost twenty years of working in the international development space.

Mr. Abiodun has various relevant field experiences including Program Management, Proposal Development, Stakeholders Management and Funds raising amongst others.

Mr. Abiodun has worked for HOPE Worldwide Nigeria, Franklin Covey Education, Junior Achievement Nigeria and most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of Bode Akindele Yield Initiative.

In this new role, Mr. Abiodun will oversee the daily operations of ICOC CHI and act as the face of the Organization. He will develop plans and programs for implementation, communicate with the Board and get approvals for strategic pathways for the Organization. He will also seek partnerships with relevant Organizations, Agencies, Donors and individuals.  He is expected to create, implement and enforce policies and procedures for the Organization.

Mr. Abiodun has been a disciple for thirty years. He has served in various Ministries of the Church which includes the Teens, Music, Young Christian and Benevolence Ministry. He was recently appointed as the Lagos Church Benevolence Ministry Coordinator.

He is married with two girls one of who was baptized into Christ on the 30th December, 2020.
