God gave the women of Shomolu Mushin region a faith inspiring breakfast meeting on the 19th of March. Tagged “Bible Over Breakfast” and held at the region’s facility at Merret close in Yaba, there were over 220 women in attendance and 135 visitors.

 

As early as 8am, women streamed into the venue from all parts of Lagos. There was worship, fellowship, and a very educative talk show on Health and Financial Management for women. Dr Funmi Aina and Mrs Sade Femi-Shofu, seasoned professionals and committed disciples of Christ, were the facilitators of this segment.

 

 

The highlight of the day was having bible discussions hold on each table. Women explored the topic “Questions People Asked Jesus”.There was full participation as guests and disciples alike searched the Scriptures, shared understanding, and sought answers. But to crown it all was a look at THE FINAL QUESTION from the Bible based on Mk 10:17. This was anchored by Mrs Stella Emeka, Womens Ministry Leader for Ikeja- Ketu-Mowe region. She spoke powerfully, calling every women to a decision and a confrontation with the question of eternal life.

 

 

Everything took place over hot cups of tea and coffee, bread, eggs and lots more. By the end of the program at11am, no one was in a hurry to leave. As one guest commented “I am so glad I cancelled my other appointment and came here today. I have learned so much!”
