Warri
Date Planted: 1995
Brief History:
The history of Warri Church cannot be complete without mentioning the contributions of our Daddy Late Dr. Emmanuel Urhobo who was baptized as a disciple of Jesus Christ in England in 1990 at the London Church. He came back to Nigeria early in 1991 and was going to Lagos from Warri every two Sundays to attend church services at ICOC Lagos then known as The Lagos Christian Church, as this was the only church of our movement in Nigeria at the time. He singularly began Evangelism in his area and baptized all of his family members including many others in his neighborhood with the help of the Missionaries from Lagos the Warri Church was started in earnest. In 1995, Warri Fellowship was fully recognized as a Church.
