The Ojo-Apapa Women Leadership Retreat – Renew & Restore

January 18th -19th 2020 was a memorable weekend for the Ojo Apapa Region women leaders in Lagos as they had their 1st Annual Retreat titled ‘RENEW and RESTORE”

It was a dream come through for our women’s leader, Biola Ojo who conceived the idea some months back. It was a great time of learning, fellowship, bonding, partying and worshiping God as women.

Classes were taught to remind us to see our walk with God beyond Bible Study and prayer but with walking in integrity and obedience to God, we were inspired on how to restore our passion for the lost.

The occasion was graced by our Sister, West African Women’s Ministry Leader, Rolayo Ogbonnaya with a message on stewardship based on the book of Ruth; which exposed us to Naomi as a woman of faith whose life was exemplary enough for Ruth to commit to following Naomi and her God. We are challenged to use our talents in service of God, take bold steps and obey by using God’s lifelines even in our difficult times.

Our theme lesson delivered by Biola Ojo called us to forget the former things, get rid of hindrances and see God doing new things in 2020 and beyond through our obedience.

The retreat did not end without proof of repentance as God blessed us with 2 friends who were invited to join our women worship service. One of them is already studying the Bible.

Please join us in prayers that God helps us remain focused on our decisions to see the new things and the victory that God has for us this year because We believe that miracles are made from Heaven.
