South-East Bloc Leaders Retreat 2019 – Effective Communication and Interpersonal Relations

It is a great thing the Lord has just begun with the South East bloc of ICOC Nigeria as new year started off with a 4 day retreat that brought together all the Church leaders, administrators and Sector leaders under one roof.

Date was Thursday 3rd – Sunday 6th January 2019 in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom stat.

Theme of the retreat was Effective Communication and Interpersonal Relations

The churches include Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Yenagoa, Uyo & Owerri.

It was a time of bonding, prayer, teaching, retrospecting, and planning.

The teaching classes thought by the bloc leader Kemi Olufowobi brought about great revival and hope for positive transformation and result for the churches within the bloc.

Classes were taught on Interpersonal Relations, Coaching, Counseling and Mentoring and Team Building

The morning devotionals were anchored by Nathaniel Afamoh and Oladipo Ajayi leading the Uyo and Calabar Church respectively and was centered on having the right attitude and overcoming fears.

The retreat ended with a spectacular worship service with the Uyo church.

The message on Loneliness shared by Kemi left everyone with amazement and powerful promises of God to keep us together and more united.

If one falls, everyone falls and if one succeeds, everyone succeeds. That’s the way we are going and looking forward to a greater victory this year to the glory of God.
