Article: Adjusting to the New Normal
Article: Adjusting to the New Normal
Yesterday’s combined service on the Island Region clearly marked a new beginning for the singles ministry in our Region. All the aspects of the service were handled by singles.
Many surprised themselves in the process of serving in their respective roles. A new standard and identify has been established for them as individuals and as a group – a new normal.
After breaking my walking/jogging record with 267000 steps over 2 weeks ago, a new habit has taken shape. At least three (3) days a week (3 times) of exercise with an average increase in the distance and time covered – a new normal.
The best way to overcome a bad habit is to seek to replace it with a new good one. I have found regular exercise to be a good remedy to laziness and other vices.
For the past four weeks, I have been recording and sharing daily journal entries as a new spiritual discipline is being added to my daily activity log – a new normal.
As we begin this new week, may God’s will and standards be re-established as they take root in our lives!
What daily or weekly godly habit will add to your list? – another new normal. The decision is yours!
