Singles: Lagos Holds Singles Workshop – Relationship and Kingdom Values

Singles: Lagos Holds Singles Workshop – Relationship and Kingdom Values

The Somolu-Mushin region’s meeting facility hosted the Singles Workshop – Relationship and Kingdom Values for all singles from all across the Lagos church on July 15, 2017.

The core objective of this workshop is to help foster a desire among the singles for a deeper spiritual relationship and connections, to build genuine and meaningful relationships in the church that can satisfy their natural longing to feel truly connected among themselves. More than 200 singles attended this workshop.
The first class, excellently taught by Frank and Femi Okodugha, was titled “God and Relationship”. Using their lives as a practical example, they outlined the need to have an awesome relationship with God. They also stressed the need to yearn and crave for time with God for if they desire God first, then they will do well with one another relationships.
Three separate classes ran simultaneously afterwards.

The brothers were taught by the Ministry Coordinator, Mike Olomo and his class titled “Setting the Pace” challenged and encouraged the brothers to lead the sisters in godliness and purity while also charging idle brothers to get a job, for this gives pride and dignity to their being.
Chinwe Olomo spoke to the sisters on “Never Compromising”. She shared three valid points on relationships outside the church, immorality and marriage.
Emeka and Karin Anolefo taught the dating and engaged couples on “Myths of Marriage” explaining some certain realities about marriages and counselling.
The final class for the day was passionately led by Wasiu and Martina Ajao. Titled “Building Memories”, it was a memory lane ride as it was revealing, practical and exemplary.
The workshop focused on the challenges, exercises and concerns most common and relevant to today’s single disciples and helped restore a kingdom value.
