Married: Young Married Workshop Held In Lagos
Married: Young Married Workshop Held in Lagos
The I Choose Us Marrieds Seminar using movies therapy was held for young couples (Between 0 – 5 years) in Lagos at the Ikeja church facility on 23rd of April, 2015.
The ICU Seminar was facilitated by Jide and Biola Ojo with Frank and Femi Okodugha.
The workshop was centered on taking the participants through different phases of marriage relationship: Infatuation, Mutual affection, Disintegration and Love Connection. Emphasis was laid on the need to make every effort to stay in love connection as married couples. Class was taught on the importance of working constantly and consistently on marriage because of its impact on work, job, health, parenting and society.
Also two major ingredients to staying in love connection phase (love and respect) was extensively discussed.
In all, we had 60 participants in attendance who were engaged and involved in the discussion. Couples shared their lapses in their marriages, questions were asked and help was sought for areas of need in their marriages.
