A 2016 POWER SERIES PUBLICATION
Friday 11th of September, 2015
Gen 11:5-6
5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. – NIV
Dear brothers and sisters,
Introduction
The theme of the outgoing year, 2014 is “BUILD”. Much emphasis has been dedicated to identifying and positioning various arms of the ministry. In 2016, focus will shift to spotlighting, strengthening and empowering individual members of the body for works of service.
“The Power of One” have been chosen by the church leadership to be our focus and mantra for the year 2016. This grand theme fuses perfectly with the theme of our planned 2016 joint missions summit with our sister churches across Anglo and Francophone regions of West and Central Africa; – “One Body, One Spirit, One Hope”
With just five years to go in our projected “2020 Vision” goal, the above quoted passage from Genesis 11:5-6, serves as encouragement from our God in our innate capacity, when channeled either way as the power of one to produce incredible results. If God sees it, we should imagine and experience it! This is the call of the hour, the call to build by exposing and focusing our available strengths in a united team or focused individuals. It’s our hope that all our inputs and resulting actions will be, both positive and pleasing to our God. This edition of “Power Series” will be our fifth edition. Let us make it grand!

Do not wait till you have generated a bunch, you can start mailing ideas as they come to you. It is our desire to publish fifty subtopics. To sift out fifty topics, we’ll have to process, not less than seventy suggestions.
A final rectification and adoption of these submitted sub topics will be done at the staff meeting on September 29th.
Please note that suggested topics may be one word, phrase or very short sentence. All submissions must tie-in with the main theme.
