Great News From Warri!

The picture above is a story of a man who has given up completely on Christianity due to the false teachings he hears daily especially on his way to work.

His name is Jonathan Ede, he hail from Agbani in Nkanu-west L.G.A of Enugu State. He works as a Lecturer in a Maritime Institute here in Warri where he met a disciple of Jesus, Clement Ighalo who also works in the Administrative unit of the same Institute.

Jonathan urgently needed an accommodation at that time but Clement convinced him (Jonathan) to move in with him while he searches for a place. Jonathan he shocked at the simplicity and accommodating heart of Clement who was a total stranger at that time.

Hence he started coming to church with Clement his new roommate and after several week of coming to church, he confessed his admiration for the service, warm fellowship and genuine love among disciple. .

He finally made the decision to be fully focused on God and say no to sins and the studies progressed steadily.  Eventually on Sunday 22nd of February, he made the best decision of his life declaring Jesus his Lord and Master and was baptized to God’s glory.

He is very happy now and willing to share how God has transformed his life. Let’s continue to show love even to strangers as ’’ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:35

Please continue to pray for Jonathan and also for us in Warri as we look forward to more hearts been open to see the truth in God’s Word even as we prepare to host the rest of the sub-region for this years’ West Africa Mission’s Conference in August.
