MARRIAGE COUNSELORS’ TRAINING.

In view to strengthen our family system, the Ojo-Apapa and Oshodi-Isolo regions of the Lagos church, on the 25^th of January, 2014 organized a marriage counselors’training.

With the growing population of marriage relationships in the church, so the issues associated with it. On this note the leadership of Ojo-Apapa and Oshodi-Isolo bloc of the Lagos church organized a one day marriage counselors’ training session. Selected married couples in the bloc were trained as marriage counselors who will in turn help to deal with thel issues associated with marriage relationships (2Tim2:2).

After welcome and opening prayer, the bloc leader Mr Jide Ojo, who is also a trained biblical counselor taught the audience on what marriage counseling is, temperament therapy (a deeper look into our inborn traits that determine why we act the way we do) and review of ICU “I Choose Us” (Love connection). Discussions were held along with sharing, questions and answers session.

The atmosphere was warm and the people were happy and looked forward to more of such training.

About twenty couples (40 people) were in attendance.

God’s willing, this event will be organized periodically.
