2019 Teens Career Workshop
The program saw a seasoned personalities in the education industry enlighten both parents and teens on the tertiary education and career path
Dr Temitope Onumiah from department of Botany, the University of Lagos gave the first class on MAKING THE BEST OF THE NIGERIAN INSTITUTION which helped in understanding the our educational system and how best to manage it
The second class was by Funmi Modupe and topic was TODAY’S DECISION ON TOMORROW’S CAREER PATH which explains who we want to be rather than what we want to be, she talked about work experience and volunteerism, our course of study in the future labour market
The third class CAMPUS MINISTRY:A SAFETY NET FOR TEENS was taken by the Emmanuel and Henrietta Emeh. This class helped informed both parents and teens on the benefits of the campus ministry
The second section was a panel of discussion which added Kessiena & Dorcas Esievo to the other speakers to talk on PREPARING THE TEENS FOR CAMPUS LIFE which looked at the home front and how parents can help their teens get ready for campus life
In all the workshop was very interactive,informative and educating for parents and teens
And we look forward to the next forum.
