2014 Nation-wide Kids Kingdom Coordinators Retreat, Lagos – Our Labour of Love
We praise God for all His mercies and faithfulness and for the resounding success we had at the just concluded Children Ministry Leaders Two days retreat with the theme ‘Labour of Love’ which held on Friday the 31st of January and Saturday the 2nd o February at the Ostra hall and hotels Alausa Ikeja Lagos.
The retreat was well attended by all our coordinators and their assistants from Lagos Church and our other churches in Nigeria. Some churches were represented by their church leaders. We are truly grateful for making out time to represent your church even with your busy schedule.
We had the following great men of God share their convictions at the retreat. Our brother Mr Bajo Adebule opened the retreat with the class ‘Not in vain’ on Friday night. On Saturday we had the lead evangelist Chris Ogbonnaya teaching us on ‘Winning our Families’, Mr Bayo Roberts and Mr. Emmanuel Emeh trained us on how to have great family devotionals.
Lastly Mr. Fred George spoke about redirecting our attention to the family. These were all great classes that we hope to take back to our various churches and regions to pass on to our people.
We had the opportunity to air our opinions, ask questions and discuss the challenges we face in our churches as we help out in the children’s ministry.
The retreat finally came to an end around 4pm on Saturday. We thank the church office, all churches and their leaders for their support towards the success of this inspiring retreat.
We hope to see the results as we continue to impact the children’s ministry.
God bless.
Elugbadebo Tunrayo
(Children Ministry Coordinator)
