Youth & Family: Parenting Workshops Holds Across The Lagos Church

PARENTING WORKSHOPS HOLD ACROSS THE LAGOS CHURCH

It has been a great time of learning and equipping for parents as parenting workshops held on a regional basis in the months of June and July all across the Lagos church.

As the next generation grows at an explosive rate, it is crucial that parents acquire the heart and learn the skills to raise tomorrow’s leaders successfully “in the training and instruction of the Lord.”

The clarion call was clear, echoing the heart of God from Deut 6:4-6 “PARENTS, IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY, NOT JUST TO PROVIDE FOR AND EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN, BUT TO TEACH THEM TO KNOW, TO LOVE AND TO FOLLOW JEHOVAH GOD”

Parents received helpful material and practical guidance on how to have daily family devotionals. It was also a forum for asking questions, sharing struggles and getting lots of help from the experience of others
