Singles: Ilorin Church Celebrates Single/Campus Week – Arise and Shine
Singles: Ilorin Church Celebrates Single/Campus Week – Arise and Shine
As part of efforts towards human capital development and engaging the next generation. The ICOC Ilorin took advantage of the week-long Singles & Campus week tagged “Arise and Shine” to engage members of the Church in an entrepreneurial & Skill Acquisition program.
Saturday, 28th of May will be a day to remember starting from the class by one of Kwara State foremost entrepreneurial coach & motivational speaker, Nasiru Abdul- Rasaq (aka Nass), a consultant to the State Government on Youth empowerment, an analyst on small businesses on some radio stations in Ilorin, a consultant with University of Ilorin and Kwara Polytechnic.
He spoke on “Entrepreneurial Mindset” and what a great training it was.
Our own home grown banker Rotimi Adeshina spoke on Financial Management. There were opportunities for singles and Campus Students to acquire different skills later on during the skills Acquisition Session. May God name be Praised for the Success of the program.
The week long program came to an exciting close with a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, 29th of May, hosted by the Singles and Campus students.
Great job by Singles/Campus coordinators, all the organising committee members, the Singles/Campus students and everyone who contributed in one way or the other plus our speaker for the day Dotun Olutunbi from the Ibadan Church who spoke the word of God powerfully to the congregation.
May we rise and shine in this dark world and may God add to our number through this efforts.
