Singles: 2016 Lagos Church Wide Singles Workshop

The Lagos church just recently organised a workshop for Singles at the Akanbi Onitiri facility of the church in Surulere, Lagos. The singles workshop was themed “Godly Values…The Way to Go!”

The workshop, which commenced 9.30am as scheduled and was attended by more than 250 singles from all across the regions in Lagos and also from outside Lagos, kicked off with worship and praises while the ministry coordinator, Mike Olomo welcomed all the participants.

In his speech, he acknowledged the commitment of all single disciples despite the present challenging situation in the country and encouraged them to give all their attention to the listed down classes.

The first class of the workshop was titled The Mission and it was anchored by the church Lead Evangelist, Chris Ogbonnanya and his beautiful wife, Rolayo.

Chris started his class with a short clip that revealed numerous statistics of facts across the world and the reasons why each disciple of Jesus Christ should embrace the mission of spreading the gospel across the whole universe.

He analyzed the mission of Jesus Christ on earth by reading the book of Romans 9:7; 10:1. He taught more on Jesus’ goal and how the disciples embraced his mission by spreading the gospel across the world.

He urged the singles to sign up for the Three (3) years School of Missions coming up in September as a way to give their time for God, share in Jesus goal and also to spread the gospel of Jesus across the nation.

After the first class came the second class which was a split classes (Brothers, Sisters and Dating couples separately) which focused on career, godliness and godly principles.

The last class for the day was facilitated by Emmanuel Emeh with the topic Fun, Love and Godliness. In the class, he explained how Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior is a loving master. He was able to show passion, love and fun to be with his followers. He also urged the singles to exemplify the habit of Jesus by being a loving and fun disciple.

After the workshop, it was indeed a great time of fellowship as the disciples engaged themselves in different fun activities.
