Praise the Lord Almighty as Pa Monday Shoretire and his Beautiful Wife Bose got Baptized in Lagos!

Ecclesiastes 11:1 says “Cast your bread upon the waters, after many days it will return to you.”

This verse of Scripture aptly describes our relationship with Mr. and Mrs. Monday Olusoji Shoretire when we moved into our present neighborhood in December 2008.

Kingsley had reached out first to Mr. Shoretire and several other men, inviting them to our Bible Talk and special Sunday services. Pa Monday had been skeptical and never went to church. Though his wife was religious, she didn’t show any interest in all our invitations. We were not deterred however, and we kept sharing the Love of Jesus with them and others in the neighborhood.

Our bread that we had cast upon the waters many years ago returned to us. when in November 2021, Pa Monday Shoretire came over to our house and announced that he would love to follow us to church! We were shocked but when we saw that he was serious, we became excited. Thereafter we initiated to study the Bible with himself and his wife.

The changes they both were willing to make motivated us to continue the Bible studies. On February 13, 2022, this wonderful couple got baptized to the glory of God!
