Brief History: The Church was officially planted November 1997. It was planted by a team of six disciples, four brothers and two sisters. The team was led by Paul Okolo and Elizabeth Crawford, two month after the church was planted, the number of disciples increased to nine (9). Since then, God has been blessing the church in an increasing measure. By the earlier 2000’s, the Church grew up to 250 disciples with the average Sunday attendance of 400. But during this same period Liberia experienced war. The war had great impact on the church, though no disciple was killed, but two got wounded from rocket particles. Despite the challenges of the war disciples were committed to the regular church functions. However due to difficult economic and social constrain that the war caused many disciples found life difficult. Some fell away. Presently, the church has a membership of 280 disciples with a regular Sunday’s attendance of about 400. Most wonderfully, the Monrovia church has planted additional three other churches in three counties: The Gbarnga, Zwedru and Ganta churches
