Benin
Date Planted: 1999
Brief History: The International Church of Christ Benin was planted in March 1999. The Church started as a fellowship in the Ugbowo campus of University of Benin, as a result of growth the need to leave the campus environment was initiated. The Church first meeting place after leaving the campus environment was the Nurses Hostel due to the influence of late Mrs Aroge a disciple and matron of the hostel. The inaugural service after planting the Church was held in that same hostel. The church was favored; paying very little for a popular hall known as Urhokpota Hall at the center of Benin City, this was due to the influence of another disciple late Mrs Dabiri and currently the Church is meeting in a hall known as National Youth House at Akpakpava in a busy area of Benin City.
