Ikeja/Ketu Singles All-night Worship
Ikeja/Ketu Singles All-night Worship
Philippians 4:6-7
‘In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus’.
The above scripture was the major focus as singles in the Ikeja/Ketu region had their first All-night prayer for the year on the 15th of May, 2015.
The message for the All-night was delivered by the region’s singles leader Billy Osazuwa and his message title was “Our Awesome God” (Psalms 19:1-4; 22; 68; 107) which emphasized on the Mighty God We Serve. He shared with the singles how mighty and powerful the God we serve his. He encouraged the singles to learn to understand how powerful God is, a God that created the entire universe with his word, and learn to serve him better.
There were different segment of prayers at the all night. The worship and praise was led by Philip Akpavie. The confession of sins was anchored by Billy Osazuwa and Precious Motutu, on Joshua 7:1-26 (Achan’s sin) as the singles broke out for a split classes for the men and women
It was a great night for singles at the all-night; a time to be reconciled with God and also to submit our prayer requests to God and with the faith and assurance that he will answer our prayers. The singles vigil was closed with a prayer by Joel Agbadu.
