On the 4th of October 2025, the ICOC Lagos Singles Ministry held a remarkable event that blended spiritual enrichment with heartfelt fellowship and wholesome fun. The event, tagged “Preserving Our Kingdom Relationships and Values,” brought together over 102 vibrant singles from across the Lagos church regions, marking a significant turnout and a testament to the unity and growing bond within the ministry.

The first segment of the event was the symposium, which focused on the importance of maintaining Godly standards and values in our relationships within the Kingdom. The keynote speakers by the Ministry Coordinators, Oladipo and Cynthia Ajayi delivered a powerful and insightful presentation. They spoke passionately about the need to uphold Kingdom values in our interactions, dating relationships, and daily conduct. Their message was deeply rooted in scripture and resonated with the audience, offering practical wisdom and spiritual encouragement.
Following their presentation was an engaging Q&A session that allowed attendees to ask candid and heartfelt questions. A distinguished panel of speakers responded with grace, wisdom, and spiritual clarity. The panelists— Gilbert & Perita Kimeng, John & Tope Onuminya, and Angela Ege —shared from their personal experiences and spiritual maturity, providing thoughtful and biblical perspectives on a variety of relationship-related topics. Their contributions added immense value to the discussion and were greatly appreciated by all present.

Karaoke Vibes: Bonding Through Music and Laughter
The second phase of the event was the Karaoke vibes, a lively and enjoyable time of bonding and connection. Singles were paired randomly or by choice to select and perform songs together, leading to a wonderful display of talent, humor, and camaraderie. Laughter filled the air as participants cheered each other on, sang their hearts out, and shared joyful moments that will no doubt become cherished memories.
This segment of the event fostered deeper connections among the singles, helping to build friendships and strengthen the sense of community within the ministry.
We are deeply grateful to God for the success of this event. Our sincere appreciation goes to the Lagos Church leadership and all the regional coordinators for their support, planning, and dedication. Events like this remind us of the beauty of unity and the importance of intentional fellowship in the body of Christ.
As we move forward, we continue to pray for greater unity, stronger relationships, and abundant spiritual and relational blessings within the Singles Ministry. May the seeds planted during this event grow into lasting fruit that glorifies God and builds His Kingdom.
