Baptism: Heaven Rejoices As Ibrahim Gets Baptised
Acts 2:36-39
“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah. When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do? Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
21st of December, 2014 was a joyous day for the disciples in Ikeja/Ketu region as another soul was added to the kingdom of God.
Ibrahim Salau who was a Muslim attended the Ikeja/Ketu Singles Service held on the 9th of November, 2014 and made up his mind to study the word of God after being approached by some brothers.
Ibrahim revealed when he was counting the cost that he had never been to any church before, but decided to be a part of God’s church the first day he visited.
Ibrahim who was invited by his colleague at work revealed he got cut to the heart after studying the ‘Discipleship Study’ which revealed who Jesus Christ is to him (Lord and Saviour), what he must do to be his disciple (Deny myself, carry my cross, count the cost) and how he must continue to serve others.
Ibrahim confessed Jesus Christ as he Lord and Saviour and was baptized into the kingdom.
To God be the glory!
