2022 South-South & South-East Marrieds Retreat

34 couples across our churches in the South-South and South East bloc gathered at the beautiful Gordon Resort, ABRAKA for a 3-day Retreat.

It was fun. an inspiring and life-changing experience for all couples. The theme for this year’s retreat was – Love Indeed

As early as 5:30 am on Saturday we began the day with couples prayer walking. It was great seeing couples walking together and praying together.

The only class was taught by Kemi and Nneka Olufowobi who opened our eyes to the fact that love must be shown in a practical sense for each spouse.

We also had a communion service and the class was mind-blowing, this was taught by the Olaolu and Biodun Karunwi. Couples were challenged to write a love book about the reasons they love each other. They are to keep this for as long as they live.

The jean Kara pool party was the icing on the cake. Couples left the resort really refreshed.

We pray that this memory will linger on for a long time in their hearts. We pray that marriages will be better and cherished as God intends.

Looking forward to another wonderful retreat God willing in 2023.
