While the church appoints, God anoints! The Lagos Church is excited to announce the appointment of Lucky Orumwense as an evangelist.
Lucky Ekuase Orumwese graduated from Humber college of Applied Art and Technology, Toronto, Canada in 1992 where he studied Chemical Engineering Technology. He was baptized as a disciple of Jesus Christ on 1st September 1990 in the Toronto church of Christ. He led the Church in Onitsha, Anambra state between 2000- 2003. The Onitsha Church was later relocated to Asaba and he led the Asaba Church from 2003- 2012. He was called into the full time ministry of the International Church of Christ in October 2007. He got married to his beautiful wife, Ngozi on the 28th of August 2004.
He was transfered from Asaba Church to lead the Oshodi – Isolo region of the Lagos Church in 2012 till the present moment.
Renowned for his total devotion and deep love for God, Lucky is a man with great organizational skill, a team player, cool headed, reliable and full of faith.
At the ordination ceremony on the 14th December, 2014 at the Oshodi-Isolo church facility, the lead evangelist, Chris Ogbonnaya together with some evangelist and elders, extolled the virtues and qualities of Lucky and charged him to continue to love God and his flocks.
He was then presented with a ‘sword’. which is the word of God, to represent Christ always even as he continues to ‘teach, rebuke and encourage.’
