Five years ago the first edition of the “Power Series” rolled off the Press. From our first Theme, “Back to Life”, it became evident that many of our Church members desire a periodic quiet time guide to help channel their thoughts as they step into a new year. Our first edition, which was meant to be a one-off exercise, was designed to encourage, inspire and challenge members of our local congregation to faith as we all step into the New Year. That first edition was inspired by similar work by Jimmy Allen.
The reception it received was so overwhelming that the Lagos Church staff decided to produce a sequel the following year. “The Most Excellent Way”, “Worthy of His Calling”, and “A Call to Build” kept us busy for the succeeding three years.
The theme for the 7th Edition is titled ‘Forward by Faith’
