ICOC Ikeja/Ketu welcomes the first fruits of her 3 Weekend Challenge

Acts 4:46-47

46Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

The Ikeja/Ketu region of ICOC Lagos baptized Mrs. Chinyere Ifejika, the first fruits of the region’s 3 Weekend Challenge on Saturday 12 of March, 2016 alongside with three other souls on Sunday 13 of March, 2016 respectively.

IMG-20160312-WA004Mrs. Chinyere Ifejika of Ikeja Zone has been committed to studying the Bible and carrying out all the challenges given to her for the past three weeks. While introducing her at the point of Baptism, Mrs. Stella Emeka and Karin Anolefo expressed their appreciation to God for the zeal and readiness Mrs. Chinyere showcased while studying the Bible.


Mrs. Chinyere expressed her boundless joy to God and the church for the privilege given to her to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ. In one of her prayer, she said deeply “Thank you Lord for sending your people to reach out to me”

IMG-20160313-WA002The next day of her (Mrs. Chinyere) Baptism, Sunday 13th of March, 2016 another three souls counted the cost and was baptized into God’s kingdom immediately after the service. The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Oyakhamo and a single brother, Ikenna Ukwunna confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior publicly.


The regional leader, Evangelist Okechukwu Emeka gave God all the glory and urged disciples not to be tired of making disciples because that the greatest commission given to us. He closed the baptism section with a word of prayer.
