Benevolence: Registration Begins For ICOC Lagos Skills Acquisition Program

The Benevolence Ministry of the church in Lagos will be running Skills Acquisition Program to empower and support the needy, less privileged youth and young adults (men and women aged between 17-40).

This Empowerment program will involve the following activities:

Tailoring                                               – a 10 month program (February – November)

Leather work                                     – 3 months program (Feb-April; June-August; Sept-Nov)

Pastries/Baking                                 – 3months program (Feb-April; June-August; Sept-Nov)

The training location for now will be at 230 lkorodu Road, Lagos. Intending participants are to collect registration form for completion from the Regional Benevolence leader(s). Applicants can also download the Registration Form Here and submit to Regional Benevolence leaders after completion.

Closing date is 10^th September 2015, while classes resume 15 September.

Candidates will be screened based on vulnerability criteria and successful ones will be contacted.

Classes are free of charge but attendance is 100%.  Materials will be provided for practical classes, while beneficiaries will be responsible for materials for their continuous assessment.  Rules and laws would be strictly abided.
