The 2015 West Africa Missions Leadership Conference – Day Two
The 2015 West Africa Missions Leadership Conference – Day Two
An orphanage visitation kick-started the day as disciples trooped out in the morning to reach out to the needy in a poor outreach program that was designed to prepare hearts for all the activities of the second day.
Day two at the 2015 WAM Conference has been awesome so far with motivational and spiritual tools to build in the midst of oppositions as bible talk leaders were encourage by the Lead Evangelist Mr. Chris Ogbonnaya to continually build the wall of the kingdom which represents their ministries.
They was a split class for the married and the single men as the married men looked at various topics that can help build their marriages and homes for God’s glory. The first class by Kemi Olufowobi focused on Building A Godly Husband in marriages, openness, purity and supportiveness to our spouses.
The second speaker, Bayo Ajadi spoke on Building Courageous Husbands while the third class was taken by Fred George who spoke on being a Christ-Like Leader/Husband as he calls married men to focus on their spiritual life first before taking out specs from the eyes of others as Jesus commanded. He encouraged the men take responsibility of their spiritual life on a daily basis and encouraged periodical vacations to avoid burn-outs.
The singles had great time in their class too as Mike Olomo anchored. The women took center stage in the afternoon as their classes were channeled to help them grow and glow as they defend their home front.
The evening was dedicated to a return novelty match between the Lagos Church and Warri Church. In a keenly contested affair on a water-logged pitch, the gallant and rugged hosts lost to Lagos by 0 -1. The goal, scored by the only foreign based player in the Lagos team, ‘Nitchie’ Oguagha, came in the 5th minute of the First Half. Lagos controlled the rest of the match and was unlucky not to score more goals as the wet pitch and resilience of the Warri goalkeeper contributed to restrict them to just the lone goal. ‘Nitchie’, who played for both sides in each half, was named Man of the Match after the match that was played with true gusto from both teams and brotherly love.
Please stay tuned for more updates as the 2015 WAM Conference winds up in Warri.
God Bless.
