Report of the South-East Bloc Leadership Retreat held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State from the 2nd Jan – 5th January 2021

It was an atmosphere of love and warmth encouragement as leaders from the five churches that make up the South East bloc (Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Uyo, Owerri, Yenagoa and Aba fellowship) gathered together for a 3day retreat in Yenagoa.

The theme of the retreat was ADEQUATELY INFORMED. The bloc leader in his vision wants every sphere of the ministry to be adequately informed about all the plans the leaders put together to achieve this year 2021.

The churches administrators , family group leaders and sectors leaders were all participants at the retreat.

The bloc thanked God for a wonderful year 2020 despite all the challenges. The bloc had 45 new convert and grew by 22. All their financial goals were met and smashed. It was truly a wonderful 2020.

The bloc focus is on the four quadrants: membership, attendance, discipling and mission. The goal is to see every disciple in the South East bloc fully committed to this quadrant through adequate information of who they are and what God expects from them.

We had different presentations from different group leaders: marrieds, singles, teens, campus, Young Christian ministry, mission.

The bloc is set with the help of God to plant Aba church come September 6th to the glory of God.

The bloc leader Kemi Olufowobi admonished every one to remain united in mind and thought as we all stay focused towards achieving greatness in the year 2021.

The spirit of every participants is high and we believe the bloc is set to achieve the goal of 100 baptism for the year 2021. Keep us in your prayers.

Thank you.
