Teaching: The Ministry Training AcademyIMG_20150613_111046

And how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for TEACHING, rebuking, correcting and TRAINING in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. – 2Tim 3:15-17 (NIV)

The Lagos Church recently commenced a 2 Weeks Ministry Training Academy (MTA) on the 13th of June, 2015 at the Ikeja church facility.

The training which started 11.00am was opened with a class on The Introduction to the Old Testament Survey by Evangelist Emmanuel Emeh. He taught on Why We Survey, The Bible as a Library, Languages on the Old Testament and the Themes of the Old Testament Book.

  • Explore the relationship of the Old Testament to the New Testament
  • Enrich and improve our devotional lives (Joshua 1:8)
  • Spur us to further study of the Old Testament (2 Timothy 2:15)
  • Help us make it to heaven (Romans 15:4, 1 Cor. 10:11, 2 Tim 3:14-17).
