The Calabar Church is on the quest of winning souls for God as the church focus on their Vision 20/20 towards advancing God’s Kingdom. The church recently organised a ‘Training the Trainers’ programme as disciples were trained to be equipped in handling correctly God’s words as they share with friends and families.

The church leader started the program with an introduction using the words in 2Timothy 2 vs 14 -26 and 1 Timothy 4 vs 7-8 which talk about the need to ‘present ourselves to God as one approved, a workman who correctly handles the word of truth’.

He emphasis that training is a process which we need to always give ourselves to daily. The first class was on being ”a thinking Christian who moves others and learn from Jesus”. Scriptures on Mathew 11,12 and 13 were used. There was time for questions and answers. The few disciples presents were delighted and strengthened in their faith.

After the program a brother who has been studying the bible during our fasting period was baptized to the glory of God. And by the grace of God there are more to come. Keep praying for us.
