Oshodi-Isolo Wins 2013 ICOC Lagos Children’s Educational Day

 The ICOC Lagos Children’s Educational Day, a quiz competition for the children, was held on Saturday the 20^th of July 2013 at the International Church of Christ Surulere facility at 10am, with the theme ‘COMING TOGETHER TO EXCEL’.

Indeed it was a day for excellence as our children from primary 1-6 and junior secondary classes 1-3,in  the 9 regions of the Lagos church came  together to compete in Mathematics and spelling Bee competitions.

The day was so eventful and engaging for the children as they competed for honors in good spirit.. We had 2 centers running concurrently and all our children came up stage with a positive attitude to give their best.

We are so proud of all the children that represented their regions and they did well.

We are grateful to God almighty for the success of the day, we are grateful to the Church, the awesome children ministry coordinators in our regions, our parents and the leadership for all their support and encouragement.

At the end of the keenly contested competition, the Oshodi/Isolo region of the Lagos church came 1^st, Ikeja/ketu was 2^nd and Ojo/apapa region came 3^rd.

As a church and a ministry we have learnt a lot from this program and to GOD BE ALL THE GLORY.
